
Notice of Open House: Proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment to support development
of the Arts Centre

D.M. Wills Associates Limited (Wills) has been retained by the Haliburton Highlands
Arts Centre Foundation (HHACF) to assist with public consultation and engagement
in support of planning applications to permit the development of a community
performing arts centre along with accessory residential dwelling units.
The proposed development is located at the intersection of County Road 21 and
Wonderland Drive, on property legally described as Part Lot 6 and 7, Concession 8;
Registered Plan 19R-7855, Part 4, in the Municipality of Dysart et al, Haliburton
County.
The range of proposed uses are not currently permitted in the approved zoning for
the subject property, and therefore, a zoning bylaw amendment is required to support
the proposed development. Contingent on the rezoning approval, the development
will then proceed through detailed site plan design and building permits with
additional supporting reports and plans.
We invite you to attend the drop-in style Open House at Pinestone Resort on October
30 th from 507 pm for more information and to provide input on the proposed
development in advance of the zoning submission to the Township later this Fall.
Members of the Foundation and Wills’ Planning Team will be in attendance to answer
any questions related to the project.

House Materials to this page as they are available. The site plan and architectural
rendering are purely conceptual at this point in time and will be refined through public
consultation and detailed design.
