Rezoning our Property

On Thursday April 9th, the HHACF submitted its rezoning application for the 14-acre property at the corner of County Road 21 and Wonderland Road. We're asking Dysart et al to change the zoning from 'Suburban Residential' to 'Urban Institutional' to allow for development of a mixed-use performing arts centre with accessory residential and commercial uses as well as protect the delineated wetland areas.

These are the documents and reports submitted:

 - 📄 Official Plan Amendment Application

 - 📄 Draft Amendment No. XX

 - 📄 Zoning By-law Amendment Application

 - 📄 Draft By-law 2026-XX

 - 📄 Site Plan, Yallowega Architecture Inc

 - 📄 Planning Justification Report, D.M. Wills Associates Ltd.

 - 📄 Public Consultation Strategy, D.M. Wills Associates Ltd.

 - 📄 Environmental Impact Study, Aster Environmental Services Ltd.

 - 📄 Traffic Impact Study, D.M. Wills Associates Ltd.

 - 📄 First Nation Consultation Summary Letter, D.M. Wills Associates Ltd.

Dysart and Haliburton County Staff are currently reviewing the application for completeness. Eventually, a public meeting will be announced by the township. This page will be updated once this information is known.

Please note that the site plan for the rezoning application may not reflect the final layout of the property, including quantity of housing and parking spaces. Final drawings will be produced in the design and architecture phase, which would be in 2027 at the earliest.

Should you have any quesetions or concerns about this rezoning and its reports, please contact the Dysart planning department.
